The PaintBall by Kidrobot - Event of the Year!

On Thursday September 72006, 7-11pm, Kidrobot will host The Paint Ball, a special benefit for Save the Children Federation. The event will help support “Rewrite the Future”, a Save the Children Global Education Initiative in war torn areas such as Afghanistan, Haiti, Indonesia, and the Sudan.
The Paint Ball event will feature customized 20-Inch Dunnys and Super FatCaps. FatCaps are a never-before-seen miniature line of toys curated by Montana Colors Spain, which features graffiti artists from around the world. The large-scale versions of FatCap will be customized by graffiti artists for this event along with 20” Dunnys customized by artists from other backgrounds.
The Paintball will also launch the Kidrobot pirate store, open for a month, while the Kidrobot Soho store undergoes renovations September 7th-28th 2006. The venue, which duals as the temporary store location, will be revealed closer to the opening. For clues please visit www.kidrobot.com/paintball. The pirate store will be a unique gallery-style retail space highlighting a new range of Kidrobot toys. Bidding for the custom 20-Inch Fatcaps and Dunnys will begin during the event via eBay.
Over 110 artists are confirmed to participate in the event such as WK Interact, SEEN, INSA, Gary Basemen, Juxtapoz Magazine, The Daily Show, Jenna Jameson, Lupe Fiasco, Heatherette, and Element Skateboards. Now, thats big news I would say. 20″ Dunnies, introduction of the Super FatCaps by Montana Colors, Kidrobot Pirate Store/Gallery - what else do you need! Oh yeah.. and the entire proceeds for a good purpose! Great job by Kidrobot!
